Penelope Cruz Steals Opposite Johnny Depp In Next ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’
It is for the first time in an exciting episode of Hollywood’s superhit film ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series we will get to see noted actress Penelope Cruz, who gave her consent to do the film from director Rob Marshall .
Reportedlly, it has been herad that Cruz will be appearing in the fourth version of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, who had done her round of bit of her talk with the director Marshall. Best part is that she has been shortlisted for the female lead in the film according to source report.
In the fourth version of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, Depp will make again his famous comeback as a Captain Jack Sparrow and the film will start to role in the summer. The story of the film revolves around the 'fountain of youth'.
Except for the leading hero Depp who had appeared in the previous three versions, rest in the film from director to heroine have changed. Formerly the previous co-stars who starred in the film with Depp were Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.
This time the film script is penned by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The total turnover of the film series are stated to be have crossed the gross amount of $2.6bn (£1.5bn) around the world.
The thirty five year old Cruz who had earned her third Oscar nomination this year for Marshall's musical ‘Nine’ which is a remake of Federico Fellini's 81/2 will be working both together in the next venture again in the fourth version of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
Well Cruz is not only attractive but talented enough to justify the role as her predecessor did.
