Everybody is well aware of the rising price in the market now-a-days. Co-incidentally, this song from ‘Peepli Live’ just correctly suits the situation. There has been no formal music launch of the film so far, but the rising popularity of the song has given importance to the original creators of the song.

 

The villagers of Badwai have originally created the song, ‘Mehangaai Daayan’ and now Aamir Khan, the producer of the film has decided to give recognition to them. The song is in not only in demand by the general crowd, but quite surprisingly by the opposition political parties also.

 

It is reported that BJP leader called on Aamir to sell the rights of the song to them, as they want to use it in elections. A source reveals, “The Opposition wants to use it as their theme song for the forthcoming Bihar elections.”

 

In fact Laloo Prasad Yadav is also in the queue, but Aamir has not said anything on this yet.

 

There will be a formal music launch event for the movie at Blue Frog, Mumbai with Rock group Indian Ocean, which has composed the track.

 

The creators of the song will sing the song with the band and even Aamir will sing to the tunes of the song with them.
