Pankaj Advani of India won a bronze medal in the English Billiards singles' category at Asian Indoor Games. He ousted Kyaw Oo of Myanmar 3-0 in the third place play off. The reigning world champion was seen in a good form after a rather disappointing show in the biennial event.
Advani routed Kyaw by 100-16, 100-58, 100-11 .He had lost his semi-final encounter to Singapore's Peter Gilchrist by 102-53 00-102 41-100 32-102.
Veteran Geet Sethi had failed to go beyond the quarter-finals of the same event. This was the only category in which he had participated. Sethi had lost to Kyaw by 92-100, 102-71, 80-101; 95-100 to Kyaw after a first round win.
Advani had earlier failed qualify the initial rounds of the 6-Red Snooker and 15-Red Snooker discipline.
