The Pakistan anti-terror court which was conducting the trial of the Mumbai 26/11 terrorist attacks suspects has adjourned the case for Nov 7. The lawyers have put forward the request for a copy of the Ajmal Qasab’s confessions and the charges which have been framed by India against him.

Pakistan’s anti-terrorism court had appointed Judge Malik Muhammad Akram Awan for continuing its hearing on the Mumbai 26/11 carnage trial where seven key suspects are being prosecuted. This decision was adopted after Judge Baqir Ali Rana had quit the position citing "security issues".

The seven suspects who were being tried at the in the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi included the Lashker-e-Toiba operatives Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and Zarar Shah.

According to media reports, Rana had quit the post after he started receiving threats from LeT as the suspects were accused in the absence of defence lawyers on Oct 10.
