Leander Paes played with former-partner Mahesh Bhupathi in their very first outing in the run-up to the August Beijing Olympics to defeat Swiss Yves Allegro and Sebastian Prieto of
The Indian duo seeded second, pulled off a 6-3, 7-6 (3) win against their opponents in enter the second round of men’s doubles. It was after a long time that Paes And Bhupathi were playing together in an ATP main draw and they hit five aces and even changed one of five break points to secure the title within an hour’s time. While Leander Paes hold the credit of being a former two time champion at the event, the 34 year old Bhupathi is making his debut here.
