Otago Volts are all set to open their Champions League campaign against Cape cobras today. The first time encounter between the clubs had resulted in difficulty in planning of strategies for the game.
Otago Volts skipper Craig Cummins commenting on the upcoming games had said, “With teams not having a history of playing against each other, there is bound to be a missing link. One cannot really plan strategies.’ The Volts will have to make solid plans for their meeting with Cape Cobras in the Group C match to be played today.
The Cobras have already won their first encounter with RCB at Bangalore on Thursday. Jean-Paul Duminy, who remained unbeaten at 99 of 52 balls, single-handedly took the South African side to victory.
