Here is a good news for all the fans of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Osian's Centre for Archiving, Research and Development (CARD) has announced to come out with complete memorabilia of Bachchan on January 3, 2009. The book titled 'Bachchanalia: The Films and Memorabilia of Amitabh Bachchan' is written by screen editor Bhawana Somaaya in association with CARD. Talking on the book release, Neville Tuli, founder-chairman of Osian's said that it is a very joyous moment for 'Bachchanalia' is the first product of Osian's new publication division.
Informing more, Tuli said that the book deals with the films and memorabilia of the megastar. During the launch of the new book at Tata Theatre of the NCPA Complex in Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan will be felicitated by actor Aamir Khan. Amitabh Bachchan is one of the greatest actor-stars of world cinema. The recipient of three National Film Awards and twelve Filmfare Awards, Bachchan had rocked the box office during early 1970s.
Apart from acting, the megastar has also tried his hands at play back singing, film production and television hosting. Amitabh Bachchan also served as elected member of the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987. The 66-year-old actor recently attained massive popularity by writing online blog. Earlier this year when the actor got hospitalised, thousands of fans offered payers for his immediate recovery. The iconic actor has offered innumerable hit films which include 'Sholay', 'Deewar', 'Namak Haraam', 'Lawaaris', 'Shaan' and others
