After it was announced that actress Cate Blanchett will be reprising her role of Galadriel in upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel The Hobbit now it is rumoured that Hollywood hunky Orlando Bloom has also agreed to return to the Peter Jackson directed epic.
 
If media reports are to be believed Bloom who will return as Legolas in the flick agreed to do the project after having long negotiations with the bosses of the movie.
 
The Hobbit which is based on the 1937 novel of the same name by J. R. R. Tolkien will also see Scottish actors Ken Stott as Lord Balin and Sylvester McCoy as Radagast.
 
The Hobbit’ has been split in two parts; one to be released in December 2012 while the second is likely to hit the silver screen one year later.
 
Bloom portrays the role of Legolas, an Elf from the Woodland Realm and one of nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring in the series.
