A new research that has been conducted by an international team at the Oxford University, London has revealed the origins of swine flu. The results of the study have shown that the virus is found to have been circulating among the pigs in various nations. The study provides proof that the new genetic elements present in the swine can lead to the emerging of virus strains which can prove to be fatal for human lives.
The scientists have quoted that the lack of a systematic surveillance of the swine have caused in the spread of this pandemic. This may lead to the presence of this harmful epidemic for a long period of time.
