Orange introduced its lightest and smallest touchscreen handset called Orange Vegas having a price tag of £48.50. The company claimed that the new Orange Vegas is the cheapest touchscreen mobile phone in UK market. Orange Vegas is definitely the lightest mobile phone as it weighs only 8 gms. The new smartphone features a 2.4-inch touchscreen with 1.3-megapixel camera. The mobile phone also comes with an MP3 player and an FM radio.
According to Francois Mahieu, Orange UK's director of devices, the new handset caters to the consumers who look for high quality at low-cost. The users will be able to enjoy 300 free texts as well as free access to social networking sites like Bebo, Facebook and MySpace by choosing the Orange Dolphin tariff. The new Orange Vegas is compatibility with microSD cards up to 4GB.
According to Jon Barrow, a mobile phone expert, it is great to have all the facilities of touchscreen phone for less than £50. The new phone from Orange comes with 128MB built-in memory, which can extended up to 4GB through microSD cards. The phone that resembles to HTC Touch handset comes in two shades - pink and black.
