The newly launched OAMS which has a number of software has been collected from acquisitions of Oblix, Bharosa and BEA. The new launch from Oracle will provide next generation access management; also, it will help to reduce security threats in IT environment. Oracle Entitlements Server, Oracle Adaptive Access Manager, Oracle Access Manager and Oracle Identity Federation are the major components of the OAMS.

 

The official release from company says that the new software will serve as the security backbone for Oracle Fusion Middleware. Similarly, Oracle Identity Management will help customers and partners decrease security threats across diverse IT environments while helping address governance, risk and compliance needs. Oracle will be the only service provider in the range of this kind of service providers says company release.

 

On the other hand web application single sign-on (SSO) authorizations technology would be used for better management. The company launched another product Oracle Entitlements Server which is a fine-grained authorization solution and is a key component of the access system. While Oracle Entitlements Server will be supported by fire wall; Adaptive Access Manager will work as proxy server for security of web infrastructure.
