This one is for the multimedia buffs out there; Alienware has recently launched its new monitor the OptX AW2210 and also the new TactX headphones.

The monitor is 21.5 inches and boasts of 1080p HD display. It has a low input-lag time and 2ms response time. The widescreen LCD display comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It also includes a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1 and 16.7 million colors for bright and crisp imagery. It features two HDMI ports and four USB ports to enhance connectivity options of the monitor. The monitor provides hassle free connection to your PC, gaming consoles, flash drives and other peripherals.

“The ultimate gaming experience requires more than just a great PC,” explained Frank Azor of Dell Gaming. “Alienware is building an ecosystem around our machines to give gamers the complete gaming experience. We’re proud to offer peripherals like these that can make all the difference.”

Alienware TactX headphones have the ability to separate out key in-game sounds. It also discerns between gunfire, footsteps, reloads and other sounds. The other features of the headphones include retractable microphone (for in-game multiplayer chatting), custom audio environment, closed circumaural ear cups and gold-plated connectors. The three piece design of the earphones allows quick breakdown and easy transportation.

The OptX AW2210 monitor is now available for purchase at a price of USD $ 299 (roughly Rs. 14,300) and is backed by Dell’s limited warranty. As for the TactX headphones, pricing details are currently unavailable.
