U.S. chat show host Oprah Winfrey has revealed that she believes late Michael Jackson was very lonely. The star interviewed Michael Jackson in 1993.
The pop legend spoke about his childhood, plastic surgery and his love interests on the chat show. According to the sources, the singer had said, "My purpose, I think, is to give in the best way I can."
Oprah Winfrey recalled the confessions made by Michael Jackson and said, "I was surprised he was willing to go that far. I see now how profoundly lonely he was. I heard and sensed it then but I didn`t feel how lonely he was."
Winfrey also added that while Michael Jackson was talking about his childhood there was a ‘sense of ‘fear and sadness’ in his voice.
"I just simply want to be loved wherever I go," Michael Jackson had replied when he was asked how he would like to be perceived.
