An online dating agency has planned its ambition of launching a website for the good looking people. The site, Beautifulpeople.com, which was confined to the U.S and U.K. only, will be a unified website all over the world.
The website has currently almost two lakhs members. It is said that, the aspirants will be asked to submit a photo and then the other members will decide if the person is attractive enough to be admitted based on an online rating system.
However, very few people get to the list rousing flak from the rating system. Many of the applicants feel that they are being discriminated and the website is becoming a superficial to a chunk of people.
According to Greg Hodge, managing director of the site, there is nothing wrong in creating a club of good-looking people in the world.
"Is it shallow to want to be with someone you're attracted to? If you are in a bar or a club and you are going to approach someone, you'll approach someone you're attracted to. There's nothing shallow in that," he says.
"People are fed up wasting time and money meeting unattractive people on the net," he clarifies.
This online dating site is now trying to attract glamorous parties and top modelling agencies to enlist with the website to make a network of glamorous people.
