Omaxe, realty company, has declared that it has begun the construction of a township covering 336-acre at Patiala in Punjab. It added that it will be partnered by Patiala Development Authority (PDA) in this project that will see an investment of Rs 800 Crore. A formal statement was issued by Omaxe in this regard. It read, 'Omaxe and PDA have entered into joint development agreement for development of this integrated township on public-private-partnership basis.'

 

The Omaxe statement further added, 'The project is being developed at a total investment of Rs 800 Crore and is spread over an area on 336 acres.'  Project implementation involving design, marketing, sale, development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance are the areas that will be handled by Omaxe under this project. The township labeled as the PDA Omaxe City will consist of an Information Technology Park, Bio-tech Park and would also house 1,000 residential plots.
