Three-time Academy Award winning film director and screenwriter, Oliver Stone who is making a movie about US President George W Bush has bagged a distribution deal with independent studio Lionsgate. Titled as ‘W’, the movie is slated to hit theatres across the United States by October, just before the presidential election. Portraying the character of the US President in this political biography will be the ‘No Country for Old Men’ star Josh Brolin.
The studio Lionsgate has informed that the shooting of the movie will initiate shortly. It mentioned that W will release on 17 October across North America and also get distributed in Britain, Australia and New Zealand. Apart from Brolin, W will also feature Elizabeth Banks in the role of first lady Laura Bush, James Cromwell as former President George H.W. Bush, Thandie Newton as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and others.
