The oldest person of India Habib Mian died at the age of 138 years. Factually, he was born on May 28, 1870 at Rajgarh in Alwar district of Rajasthan. Lately he had developed fever and a bout of dysentery which led to his death. Historically, he was a clarinet player and had joined the band of the erstwhile Jaipur Royal family.
 
Later on when he got retired in the year 1938 he was getting a pension of just Rs 1.46, which subsequently was increased to Rs 2698. He was able to talk even at his last day and according to one of his family friend Rajesh Nagpal the grand old man had called him a day before his death and had asked him not to leave as his time had neared up.
 
Interestingly, the grand man was not grand in age only; rather he has left a grand family of around 140 grand and great-grand children. According to press reports his four sons and wife already have died. The historic moment for Mian came in the year 2005 when the Limca Book of Records recorded Habib Mian as the oldest man of Jaipur.
