US Democratic hopeful, Barack Obama on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 won the North Carolina presidential primary. The US Senator however is lagging behind fellow Democratic Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in Indiana. Obama after his stupendous win in NC Primary remarked that he is drawing close towards the Democratic Presidential nomination. Obama won 56 percents of the vote in North Carolina while the former First Lady could lay claim on 42 percent of the votes.
 
Hillary Clinton, however, after her projected win in Indiana vowed to continue her quest for the Democratic Presidential nomination. At Indianapolis, she thanked her cheering supporters adding that it is owing to them that she is moving at a fast pace towards the White House. In Indiana, returns from the 85 percent precincts showed Clinton with 52 percent of votes to 48 percent for Obama. Hillary was with her Husband, former President Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea at the campaign in North Carolina. The New York Senator remarked that no matter who so ever wins the epic race for the nomination, she will work for the nominee of the party.
