Nokia has recently launched two new mobile phone for the entry level market in a bid to beef-up its hold in this segment. The two models to have launched by the Finnish mobile company are the Nokia 2600 Classic and the Nokia 1209.
 
Both the mobile phones are very beautifully designed and offer some very practical and useful features that are ideal for those consumers who want a basic mobile phone with a mix of good features, beautiful design and value for money.
 
The Nokia 2600 Classic allows customization of the phone by way of offering changeable Xpress-on covers; it also offers mp3 ringtones as well. Among the entertainment features, it includes a FM radio and a VGA camera as well. Not only this, it also has support for Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging which is basically used for recording and editing messages on the go. Apart from SMS, it also supports MMS as well.
 
On the other hand, the Nokia 1209 offers some cost management features which makes sharing the phone a piece of cake. It has a tracker which tracks the prepaid phone usage of the consumer, multiple phone book that allows as many as five entries to store for a contact and up to two hundred numbers on a single phone. It also comes loaded with a one-piece key mat which is very reliable apart from being extremely durable as well. The talk time of the handset is extended by the power saver mode.
 
Nokia did a big survey recently, according to which consumers in the upcoming markets prefer to share their phones among friends and family. According to the reports of the survey, about 50% people in India and 30% people in Pakistan prefer to share their cell phones between their family members and friends.
