It seems that the 'Mobile Phone Industry' never rests. Not only are new models introduced frequently, but old models are also being revamped every other day. Now, Nokia has released a new version of its 8800 fashionphone. Named Nokia Gold Arte 8800, the latest cell phone comes with an 18-carat gold and white leather encasing, making it perfect for those who regard a cell phone as a status symbol.
Nokia Gold Arte 8800 comes equipped with 2.0-inch QVGA OLED display, which promises a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. With a weight of 150 gm, the latest cell phone by Nokia flaunts the dimensions of 109 x 45.6 x 14.6 m. Amongst the impressive features of the mobile phone is its 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, which has been packed with 8x digital zoom to enable the users to have clarity while clicking even the distant objects.
The specifications of Nokia Gold Arte 8800 are quite similar to the Carbon Arte, especially its 4GB internal storage, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support and Tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900) and WCDMA 2100 connectivity. Apart from that, its features include series 40 5th Edition interface, Feature Pack 1, USB 2.0 port and the Opera Mini Web browser. Though there is no official word on the price as yet, Nokia Gold Arte 8800 is expected to cost around Rs 65,870.
