Nokia 8800 Erdos, a luxury phone,is much more than just a bundle of expensive materials and high-quality crafting. The new device, which is reported to have emerged from Espoo, Finland, will be adopting a different market approach.
Nokia 8800 Erdos comes with a display covered by glass. The device looks transparent when used and turns silver when turned off. The Nokia 8800 Erdos comes with Symbian S60 3rd edition on board. The mobile is scheduled to hit the markets by October.
The phone is equipped with a 2.4-inch OLED display which flaunts a QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) resolution and support for 16 million colours. The camera comes with 5-megapixel Carl Zeiss optics and offers auto focus, video recording capabilities and LED flash. The Nokia 8800 Erdos provides options for High Speed USB (micro-USB), Stereo Bluetooth v. 2.0 (A2DP & AVRCP), WLAN, WCDMA bands: I + VIII, GSM 900/1800/1900, and AGPS.
The new Nokia 8800 Erdos is 116.9 x 50,3 x 15.0 mm in size and includes 8GB of available internal memory. MicroSD memory card slot is not included in the equation. The mobile has been carved out from a single metal piece which has been marked as “bullet silver”. The Nokia 8800 Erdos has a sliding factor which will enable the keypad to be at the level of the display when it is slid.
