In its constant endeavor to keep serving customers with premium category phones, the Nokia Company has unveiled the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. Carbon fibre, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel have been used to make the new Nokia phone, which exudes refinement and class.
The handset includes 3D patterns that display the inherent performance and lustre of carbon fibre. The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte features the slide mechanism. The user will find exclusively created interesting wallpapers and soundtracks in this range of Nokia phones. The display is unique and a really eye-catcher due to its changing background images.
An unusual way to silence the incoming calls is by flipping the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte phone screen side down as this will activate the turn-to-mute silencing mechanism. Further on, it boasts of features like 3G capabilities, 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera and a stunning OLED display with built-in memory of 4 GB.
Upon twice tapping the steel surface below the display, a display clock will be seen on the screen. It will hit the market in the third quarter of 2008 priced at EUR 1,100 exclusive of subsidies and taxes.
