Nokia has unveiled its latest 5800 XpressMusic phone in India. Powered by S60 5th Edition user interface, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features include a graphic equalizer, 81 MB of internal memory with up to 16 GB expandable memory, compatibility with all main digital music formats, a 3.5mm jack and built-in surround sound stereo speakers.
Priced at Rs. 21,839, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, LED flash and a front camera for video calling. In addition, it also incorporates the innovative & “Contacts Bar” to allow users to highlight four favorite contacts on their home-screen and get details of them.
It has a virtual computer-style QWERTY keyboard as well as Media Bar to directly access music, videos and photos. All these specifications enable users to store and play music of their choice at a superior quality.
Besides, the latest XpressMusic phone from Nokia also employs a built-in A-GPS with Nokia Maps and voice guided navigation and supports 3G, HSDPA and WLAN connectivity. It is compatible with hi-speed USB 2.0 and Bluetooth wireless technology 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio. Nokia is also planning to tie-up with Indian Music Industry (IMI) consisting of 150 music companies. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone is scheduled to be available in India by January 2009.
