Nokia, the world’s top manufacturer of cellular phones, launched three new handsets on Monday. The models included a touch screen handset also. The models are 5530 XpressMusic, E72, an upgrading of E71 and a 3710.
The 5300 XpressMusic is the touch screen phone and has the scrolling Contacts bar. This allows the user for accessing up to 20 contacts directly. The scrolling bar also provides access to latest conversations as well as media updates.
The 5530 XpressMusic phone’s home screen provides granted access as touch shortcuts to various content networks and social networks such as MySpace and FaceBook. The playback time which is provided by this touch screen phone is 27 hours. The audio quality is also very high. The 5530 XpressMusic comes with a 4GB memory card that allows the user to store the music according to the users’ wish.
YouTube is supported by this touch screen phone which can be viewed very clearly on the display screen having a width of 2.9 inches. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic provides provision for purchasing music from the nearest Nokia Music Store directly using your phone or through your PC. This phone runs on the GSM/EDGE networks and provides support for wireless LAN. This also has “people carousel”, the pop up Media Bar as well as support for Flickr, Ovi Share as well as VOX.
The 5530 XpressMusic from Nokia comes with free access of Internet for three months via Bongo.
