It looks as if Nokia is gearing itself to launch a new phone, Nokia 2220 slide, which is meant for the entry-level users.
The 2220 slide is definitely a slider, and is being offered in numerous attractive colours including red, blue and green.
The handsets use Nokia’s S40 UI and provide only dual-band GSM connectivity (900/1800 MHz).
Some of the other features which can be expected from Nokia 2220 Slide include 128 x 160 pixels display, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, Opera Mini browser, VGA camera and a 10MB internal memory. The battery is being flaunted to last for about 8 hours in talk-time mode, or up to 400 hours in stand-by.
