Japan based Nikon Corporation has introduced its D700 digital SLR (DSLR) camera on Tuesday, July 01, 2008. The camera meant for advanced and professional photographers a 12.1 effective mega pixels FX-format CMOS sensors that measures 23.9 x 36mm. apart from the FX-format CMOS sensors, the camera incorporates Nikon’s EXPEED image processing system. The latest camera from Nikon starts up in merely 0.12 seconds and has a near-imperceptible shutter-lag response time.
The new Nikon D700 D-SLR camera will be available in markets from late July onwards. The camera boasts of an extensive array of features. The camera has a 51 point auto-focus system with 3D focus tracking and two live view shooting modes that allow photographers to frame a shot using the camera’s 3 inches high resolution LCD monitor. The new DSLR also boasts of the fastest speeds and auto focus in its class. The new offering from Nikon is going to be available at around $3,000 (body only).
