The Nikon Corporation has unveiled its new Coolpix S60 compact camera that fetchingly blends elegant design with superb performance. The Coolpix S60 flaunts a fresh looking touch screen interface that places all controls at the user's fingertips. Among the various interesting features in this new Nikon camera like exciting playback options, is the intuitive fingertip shooting control. These features have been neatly integrated into a unique touch screen interface.

The Nikon Coolpix S60 compact camera features a 3.5-inch LCD monitor. Being a touch screen device, the only physical button the user will have to press is the shutter while clicking pictures. Infact, even that will not be required if the user uses handy features like the self-timer or the Smile Timer. User also gets to choose between any of the three different HOME screens bearing big icons for easy use. Even the 5x zoom can be controlled via icons on the touch screen.
