Actress Nicollette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton have terminated their engagement, informed the publicist for the actress Nicole Perna on Tuesday, August 26. Michael Bolton, 55, is a Grammy Award winning singer who has sold over 53 million records. His hit songs include 'Time, Love and Tenderness' and 'When a Man Loves a Woman.'

Sheridan, 44, rose to prominence due to her role as suburbanite Edie Britt in the ABC hit television show 'Desperate Housewives'. She also starred in the TV show 'Knots Landing.' The couple began dating in 1992, but went separate ways five years later.

It was three years ago that they revived their love relationship again and this was followed by the announcement of their engagement in 2006. Now again comes the news that Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have parted ways. Infact an official statement regarding this was issued.
