Sony has unveiled a new notebook called VAIO NW in Indian market. The new Sony VAIO NW laptop boasts of a 15.5-inch Real Wide screen and reverse hinge that that minimises the store space. The new laptop comes with 2-tone colour and clear touch pad. It is powered by Intel Pentium Processor T4200 (2 GHz) and is equipped with 160 GB hard disk drive and 2 GB of RAM.
The new Sony VAIO NW laptop comes with Quick Web Access function that allows the users to access web instantly. The notebook offers a special facility called Display Off button which allows the users to turn off the screen while the notebook continues to run in the background for a quick resume. This facility conserves power. The notebook is integrated with Sony PMB (Picture Motion Browser) which enables the users to produce own high-quality home movies.
Sony VAIO NW notebook also comes preinstalled with VAIO MusicBox that offers unlimited music to the users. In addition to these, the laptop possesses a HDMI output connector and Sony's Resolution Utility, which enable the images to be displayed on a larger screen TV. It is also preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit. The new notebook from Sony's stable will carry a price tag of Rs. 37,990. Sony's new product is likely to give stiff competition to already existing Acer Aspire 5738z.
