Recently Nokia has unveiled five new low-end phone models ranging from 20 Euros to 54 Euros.

It has been a constant effort from the dominant mobile maker to tap the vast potential in key markets. Currently Nokia enjoys a market share of 60-70%. But it is aimed at making a strong ground in emerging low-end markets all over the world.

The new low-end models are priced between 20 Euros and 54 Euros excluding the taxes.

"The long battery life, with up to 22 days of standby time, is vital for people in areas where access to electricity is limited," Nokia said in a statement.

Nokia will provide e-mail service through all of the expensive models like Nokia 2220 slide and the Nokia 2690 through its Ovi Mail service.

According to a Nokia release, it will shortly provide useful information in agricultural, education and information services by its Life Tools service in Indonesia from December 2009.
