The Netbook/UMPC hybrid product looks like a PC with touch screen, keypad and online pointer. It has been regarded as a mini computer with Netbook features. But unlike the UMPC, a user can hold the NetWalker with two hands and type with the thumbs. The user has no problem in navigating as there is an optical pointer to serve as a mouse.
The NetWalker is a slim product with a 5-inch touchscreen associated with 512 MB of memory and wireless LAN. The product runs in Ubuntu platform and there is a Firefox browser to help in easy browsing through the websites.
It has all other essential applications like word-processing editor, spreadsheet, email support and twitter application to carry put necessary activities as that of a normal PC.
The Netbook/UMPC hybrid product is available at a cost of $500.
According to the company sources, it will be introduced in other markets based on the response from the buyers in Japan.
