Honda Siel Cars India has launched two new variants of Honda City, the Honda City 1.5V, which is a fully featured model and the Honda City 1.5S, which come with novel beige interiors. This launch comes as a part of Great Honda Fest promotion.
The City 1.5V (MT & AT) is equipped with 5 spoke Alloy Wheels and Front Fog Lamps, which will enable better visibility, along with the adding as a style quotient for the car. The new City 1.5V sports new Chrome door handles, Sporty Exhaust Finisher as well as with Front & Rear mud guards.
The Honda City 1.5S comes with a fresh and novel interior appeal with Beige fabric seats, Silver Coloured Fan Knob, painted inner door handles, door lining garnish and power windows panel. This new variants also comes with Dual front tweeters and a driver seat back pocket.
New Honda City comes in SMT, VMT and VAT in both Elegance and Inspire types. The company has added a new option for colour, Deep Sapphire Blue, for the limited edition cars, which will be available during the festive season.
The new variant of Honda City sports a 1.5L, 4 cylinder new generation i-VTEC engine, which has the potential for delivering 118PS power. The engine of the new variant complies with E10 and possesses Euro IV emission levels.
The new City sports safety features like standard including ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with Brake Assist (BA), Dual SRS airbags, pre-tensioner seat belts and G-CON (G-Force Control Technology) body with a high integrity survival zone. Advance pedestrian safety features are also incorporated in the new variants.
The new model of Honda city, which had been launched during September 2008, has made sales of 38,000 units till now.

The new Honda City is available at an ex-showroom price between Rs. 8.37 lakh and Rs. 10.24 lakh in Delhi.
