World famous American pop singer, Britney Spears has twice tried committing suicide. This and many other glaring secrets about her personal life and her friend circle have been spilled in a new book penned by Ian Halperin. It is reported that Ian Halperin spent 18 months undercover to conduct an investigation for his new book themed on Britney Spears. In the said time span, Halperin got close to Spear and her friends circle and will now be releasing the book based on his findings.

Ian Halperin is heard to have remarked that the problems of Britney Spears were caused by drugs and her friends' circle. 'I saw a lot. I partied with her and was able to really monitor what type of stuff she was using. It's very concerning. But the book is mainly about her handlers, how sleazy and destructive they are towards her. The people around her are like vultures,' Halperin has stated. The author has also said that his book will not hurt Spears, who, he says, is a very caring mom. Ian Halperin has, however, also mentioned that Britney Spears is suffering from a 'catastrophic relapse' of her bipolar issues.
