Bollywood actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is the grandson of late singer Mukesh, has revealed that ambition is to fulfill the dream of his legendary grandfather.He puts it that his decision to opt a career in Bollywood is solely guided by his grandfather’s dream. 
According to Neil, “Maybe that is the reason I have become an actor. I am living his dream and I work from my heart."
After participating in the Kolkata Fashion Week-II for designer R. Narendra Kumar on September 13, Sunday, Neil said "I never saw him. But I have heard a lot about him from my grandmother. From her I heard stories of his forays into film acting,"
The late Mukesh had also tried his hand in acting when he kicked off his career. Mukesh had appeared on the screen first time with the movie ‘Nirdosh’ (1941), with Nalini Jaywant. Other movies where Mukesh had been a part of the cast include ‘Sukh Dukh’, ‘Adaab Arz’, ‘Mashooqa’ and ‘Anurag’. However, he grew in fame with his magical voice rather than the movies.

Neil made a great show on the Kolkata Fashion Review walking the ramp wearing a black outfit with golden work on it. Neil shares his experience as ‘He (Narendra Kumar) has made an extremely nice designer outfit for the show. He is not only a designer. He has helped me in my style statement."
Neil says about his style statement that he follows the simple modern style.
