Noted film maker Madhur Bhandarkar, known for his upbeat socially relevant films, now plans to make ‘Jail’, a film based on Indian prisons. The director has roped in Neil Nitin Mukesh to play a principal character in the film. Neil caught the fancy of Madhur when the latter got rave reviews for Neil’s brilliant performance in his debut film ‘Johnny Gaddar’.

Madhur, who is busy with the post-production of his forthcoming film Fashion, revealed that Jail will be jointly produced by him and Percept Pictures. Jail is going to be a two hour thriller about three prisoners. The ace director feels that so far the concept of prison story has gone unexplored in Bollywood.

People have already started speculating about the film but have no clear clue about its storyline. Some suggest that the film is about a young man, who is imprisoned while his case is still in the courts, while others believe that it is a story about under trials in general.
