Manufacturer of vehicle computers and other related technological and communication products, VIC, has introduced Navisurfer II. The Navisurfer II, a computer-kind-of device that can be fixed in car’s dashboard. The device comes with host of Internet and connectivity features like 3G Double DIN Car PC with HSDPA modem, GPS along with Maps, Broadband TV and Radio.
 
What would lure a buyer is that a number of connectivity ports, 3 USB 2.0, 1 Line-in, 1 Line-out, 2 PS2, 1 Serial Port, 1 Mic-in, 2 AV-in, 2 DC 12V and there is a rear view camera auto switch. The touch-screen interface is another attractive feature of the device.
 
The device weighs about 1.9 kilograms and there are media features like Audio/Video Player, Internet TV/Radio while the operating system is Ubuntu 10.10.
 
The display comes with a long menu list including Bluetooth, YouTube, TV, music, movie games, Internet, email and Mozilla among others. One can also access Facebook, Twitter and other networking sites directly by hitting the desktop icons.
 
And of course, all these advanced features on a vehicle will not come at small price. The device is priced about 300 Euros, according to a source.
