NASA on Sunday (June 7) announced the launch of US human space flight review web site for public use. The web site has been launched for a two-way conversation with the public about the future direction of NASA's space flight programs. It will review the workings of US Human Space Flight Plans Committee. The site will provide documents and information and enable the common people to know about the activities of the committee with regular updates.

The website will provide input through Web 2.0 tools such as Twitter, Flickr, user-submitted questions, polls and RSS feeds. Some additional features will be included with the progress of committee's activities. According to the chairman of US Human Space Flight Plans Committee, Norman Augustine, anybody can access the site. He added that the committee expects to benefit from the views of all who wish to contact it.

Common people are invited to use the web site to submit questions, upload documents or comment about topics related to the committee’s operations. During the course of the review, the committee will conduct public meetings and the first one is likely to take place on June 17 in Washington, D.C.
