Ruling out any likelihood of Tata’s pullout from Singur, Bengal Industry Minister Nirupam Sen has said that Nano will roll out before Puja. Interestingly, there were reports in media that owing to perpetual opposition and protest from Trin Mool Congress (TMC), Tata Motors has wished for pullout option.

 

Giving his clarification on the issue he said that what the media has written is their responsibility, and the government has neither any letter, nor any proposal from the Tatas that they want to pull out of Singur. Showing his confidence he said that the 'Nano' would roll out of Singur on schedule.

 

Answering to question of his appeal to TMC to come to dialogue table, he said that whatever he had to tell the opposition, he has said in the Assembly and also outside. And, now he does not have anything new to say. Also, he ruled out any other land to be offered to Tatas for it would raise fresh issues.
