Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who is presently embroiled in a controversy for slapping teammate S Sreesanth, appeared for one more round of disciplinary hearing before the BCCI-appointed Commissioner Sudhir Nanavati at the Gujarat Law Society building on Friday 9 May. Following the hearing, the BCCI-appointed Commissioner said that the investigation has been completed and that he will present his final report on Monday 12 May.
Commenting on the probe, Nanavati said that he does not need to speak to any cricket player or officer any more as he is content with the answers both Harbhajan and Sreesanth have provided. He added that both the Indian cricket players acted very supportive during their cross-examination and that he now had all the answers he required to make the report. While Harbhajan was interviewed for about one and a half hour by Nanavati, Sreesanth was queried for just half an hour.
