Mozilla recently announced the release of its latest update for Firefox 3.5 is now available. A previous article on the slated release is also available in this section.

The RC in Mozilla Firefox 3.5 stands for Release Candidate and is now officially available for download with many bugs on the older version taken care of.

Mozilla claims that the new Firefox will be faster, with better performance and web compatibility.

Some of the other features of new version of web browser from Mozilla include support for web workers, which can enable browser-based applications to run in the background, personas to more easily provide themes, downloadable fonts and better built-in graphics technology. In order to establish better communications between a browser and server, Firefox 3.5 incorporates built-in support for the JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) technology.

The Release Candidate built for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux is available in 70 different languages.
Users running on the Beta 3.6 or the older Release Candidate can get this new version by clicking on the check for Updates option on the browser.
