Moser Baer has added to its existing product line 8 new LCD TVs. Bhaskar Sharma, CEO of Moser Baer’s optical Media and Consumer Products businesses states that the company believes in giving its customers a choice for their entertainment decisions and is the reason behind the many LCD TVs launched, with each having distinct features. All models, however, come with the same two 5 Watt audio outputs.

The TVs have High Definition (HD) capability and feature A-grade panels and integrated speakers which will allow the viewer to experience advanced clarity with high contrast ratio. Two of the models come with USB facility to enable the viewer to plug in a USB device and view images and listen to music in the MP3 format.

The HD ready LCD TVs are available in four sizes: 19, 22, 26 and 32 inches whereas the full HD LCD TVs come in size 42 inches.

The 19 and 22 inch TVs offer contrast-ratio of 7000:1 and 10000:1, resolution of 1400 x 900 and 1680 x 1050, and are priced at Rs. 14,900 and Rs. 17,900 respectively.

The 22-inch HD ready LCD TV costs Rs. 16,900 and has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and features SRS Tru Surround XT.

The 26-inch and 32-inch HD ready LCD models are priced at Rs. 24,900 and Rs. 33,900 respectively. These TVs boast of a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and offer a contrast ratio of 10000:1 and 30000:1 respectively.

The flagship of the range, the 42 inch full HD ready LCD model costs about Rs. 56,000 and prides of a high resolution of 1920 x 1080 with dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1.
