Who will not love to have a morning with a cool breeze and beautiful drizzle? That’s how Wednesday morning started for the “Delhiites”. The forecast for has more showers for the city of Delhi. 
“There will be a cloudy sky with a few showers and thunderstorms in some parts of Delhi," said a meteorological official. 
With the sun hidden behind the grey clouds till the late morning, pleasant conditions will definitely continue. The showers have brought relief from the summer heat. 
The maximum temperature on Wednesday is predicted to be 35°Celsius and the minimum will hover around 25 degrees Celsius. Humidity is expected to be high at 81%. 
The southwest monsoon finally hit the capital Tuesday evening and since 8.30 p.m. till Wednesday morning 8.3 mm of rain has been recorded. 
"Normally the rains are strong when they arrive. In June this year the capital and surrounding areas received just 19 mm of rain while the average is 55 mm," he said.

The average rain recorded in July in previous years was 225.3 mm.
