Buzz is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants to rechristen actress Monikangana Dutta as Mona Lisha! Actress Monikangana Dutta will make her screen debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Guzaarish’ opposite Hrithik.
According to the latest Bollywood news, Bhansali is keen to launch the actress with a new name and the name has nothing to do with numerology. It is believed that Sanjay thinks Monikangana has resemblance with Leonardo do Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
However, a close source says that the actress is not too excited about her new name .The source said, “Monikangana doesn’t want to change her name as she is well-known by her original name. However, Bhansali feels that Monikangana resembles the iconic Mona Lisa. Bhansali recently told her what he thinks and suggested that she should change her name to Mona Lisa.”
Monikangana denied disclosing any details when approached and said, “I am not supposed to talk about ‘Guzaarish’. And as for the name change, why don’t you ask Bhansali about it?”
