Who will be able to forget veteran actor Thilakan’s amazing performance as Mohanlal’s father in Kireedam, Spadikkam and Narasimham? Almost a decade later, Thilakan and Mohanlal are now coming together once again as father and son in a new untitled film by Rosshan Andrews, produced by Antony Perumbavoor and scripted by James Albert.
"Spadikkam worked big time because of the performances of Thilakan as the disciplinarian Mathematics teacher and Mohanlal as his wayward son. They had tremendous understanding which ignited the on-screen spark between the two," noted director Bhadran said.
Thilakan and Mohanlal were not in good terms due to some petty issues of AMMA. Thilakan, in an interview to a leading Malayalam daily, had blasted the superstars (Mammootty and Mohanlal) for all his problems.
So let us wait and see if the chemistry between Mohanlal and Thilakan still has that charm.
