Michael Jackson's father Joe has lost his legal bid to discredit the administrators of his late son's estate after accusing them of forging the superstar's will.

The family patriarch filed legal papers earlier this week (beg09Nov09) petitioning for estate executors John Branca and John McClain to be disqualified, alleging they hid a mistake in the singer's 2002 will from the courts.

The estate was recently hit by claims of a possible forgery in the document, which was signed and dated "July 7th, 2002 at 5:00 pm, Los Angeles."

It's alleged pictures prove Jackson was in New York on the day he reportedly put pen to paper in California.

But on Tuesday (10Nov09) Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled Jackson does not have legal standing to contest the pair or to object to the will.

The ruling paves the way for Branca and McClain to be formally appointed as co-executors of the estate, reports TMZ.com.

Disgruntled Joe last week (06Nov09) launched a court bid for a share of his son's fortune after he was excluded from the list of beneficiaries.
