Mithun Chakraborty, the famous Hindi film actor has decided to establish a sporting entity called Royal Bengal Sports Private Ltd, which in turn will sponsor other football clubs of the state. 

Interestingly, Mithun Chakraborty has already been associated with Indian Cricket league through his Royal Bengal Tigers (RBT), and the new venture will certainly add another feather on his arm. The new entity has come after the lackluster performance by RBT in IPL.

 

The main idea behind the formation of the new entity according to Mithun Chakraborty is promotion of football in state of Bengal. The new sporting body is expected to infuse the much needed professional touch in affairs and development of soccer in West Bengal. 

Mithun’s organization already has announced tie up with Royal Bengal Tigers and Howrah Union. Excited with the new venture, Mithun told reporters that he personally will move around the world to get footballers for the R B T Howrah Union.
