The organizers of the 2008 Miss Universe at Vietnam appear to be making some progress in the selection of judges for the beauty pageant. It has been decided that Jennifer Hawkins and Roberto Cavalli are going to be in the panel of judges for this year’s Miss Universe competition. 

Jennifer Hawkins herself happens to be a former Miss Universe who won the crown in 2004. This Australian beauty is also a TV host and the brand ambassador of the department store Myer. 

Roberto Cavalli, on the other hand, is a world famous fashion designer and has been associated with many such events in the past..  

Donald Trump Jr. is another judge on the 2008 Miss Universe judges’ panel. He is the son of wealthy real estate developer Donald Trump, who is the co-owner of Miss Universe Organization.

Louis Licari will also participate in choosing the winner of the 2008 Miss Universe contest. He is an expert hair colorist, whose hair salons at New York and Beverly Hills boast of catering to the most elite of clients. 

Then there is American actress and model Nadine Velazquez, who also starred in the 2004 movie Blast! The swimsuit, evening gown and interview are the three main categories in which the 80 contestants will be judged on the final day. Whoever the judges select as the winner will be conferred the crown by Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2007. The Miss Universe 2008 finale will be hosted by Jerry Springer and Mel B, whereas pop star Lady GaGa will perform during the event.
