English-American model and actress Mischa Barton famously known for her role as Marissa Cooper in the American television series ‘The O.C.’ has admitted that even today she suffers from depression.
The 24-year old beauty was admitted to a psychiatric hospital last year to seek help for the depression but she confesses that she has not yet fully recovered.
"I balance (depression) with positive things in my life and that's why I have my outlets. As much as I get down, I'm an upbeat person. People always think of me as kind of a light in a room - I love to make people laugh," she said.
However, the actress admits that she loves music and finds literature interesting. Barton has dated celebrities like Cisco Adler, Taylor Locke, Jamie Dornan, Brett Simon and Brandon Davis.
