MindTree, which is an offspring of first gen Indian entrepreneurs, has been declared as the "most admired knowledge enterprise" of Asia. This is for the second consecutive time that this IT solutions provider is being conferred with the honour.

MindTree executive chairman Ashok Soota received the MAKE award for the firm at the World Knowledge Forum 2009 in Seoul in South Korea last week.

The renowned MAKE award is given away by the Teleos Leadership Institute along with KNOW network, which is a web-based international network for sharing knowledge.

A panel of Asian Fortune Global 500 business executives found MindTree to be excellent in the area of knowledge management. "Integrating knowledge into our strategy and day-to-day work has paid-off," Soota said while receiving the award.

Teleos, which is an independent knowledge management and intellectual capital research firm, governs the MAKE programme.

MindTree has also been ranked 45th among the leaders in the 2009 global outsourcing 100 by the international association of outsourcing professionals.
