If Sonu Nigam and Himesh Reshammiya can try their hand at acting, then why should the controversial Punjabi pop singer, Mika be left far behind? Sources inform that Mika, who last year gave music aficionados the hit Mauja hi majua song in the film Jab We Mat, is now going to debut in film Love.com as the lead actor.  

In Love.com, which deals with the issue of Internet misuse by contract killers, the Punjabi singer will be portraying the role of a club owner. One hears that the film by first-time director Vinod Mukhi is ready and is slated for a release in September this year. ‘Yes Mika is playing the lead in my film’, confirmed Mukhi.  

He then added about Mika’s character as the boss of a club that eventually turns into a hotspot for contract killers. ‘His character sings, dances and has all the fun, but doesn't tolerate any misbehavior in his bar,’ Vijay Mukhi told the media. The first time director also informed that Mika has sung a really happening number in his film. 

Mukhi is confident that the Mika song would be eagerly lapped up by music lovers. Mika hit the gossip columns after he allegedly kissed item girl Rakhi Sawant at his birthday party in 2006. In Love.com, Mika has been cast opposite South Indian heroine Mumaid Khan, who plays the role of a club dancer.
